Traditional models which are often trained on extensive online databases, have faced criticism for inadvertently resembling copyrighted artwork but Getty Images has tackled this issue head-on.

Generative AI from iStock addresses concerns about the originality and legal rights of AI-generated images by offering users up to $10,000 in protection for each image. This means that if the authenticity or legal standing of an AI-generated photo is questioned, Getty Images, the parent company of iStock, will provide support by covering legal expenses up to the mentioned limit.
